Prague rose modestly on Thursday, up 0.46%, to CZK 438.60 points. Cesky Telecom closed down 1.17%, to CZK 397.30, with a decent volume being supplied by Czech retail as well as domestic institutional investors. There was both foreign demand and selling in Ceska sporitelna, and the stock closed at CZK 240.60; 390,000 shares were traded (CZK 94 mil. volume). We believe that demand for Ceska sporitelna might carry into today’s session. Ceske radio was suspended from trading due to its AGM yesterday, which approved a higher-than-expected dividend of CZK 395 per share. Total market volume reached USD 17.55 mil. on Thursday. Trading in Ceske radio will resume today with a CZK 30 spread.
