According to Ukraine's State Statistics Committee CPI decreased by 0.2% in August 2009 in comparison with previous month to 15.3%. In January-August inflation was 8.2% compared to 14.8% over 8M08. Falling food prices were the main driver of the current price decrease. Producer prices rose by 1.8% m/m during last month, and +6.8% over January-August 2009.
