Slovakia’s GDP increased by 9.6% in the 4Q06, which is by 0.1 p.p. more than the fast estimate of Slovak Statistical Office. Slovakia’s economy output increased by 8.3% last year after 6.0% growth in 2005. According to Slovak statistics’ forecast, GDP in the 1Q07 should increase by 8.5%.
Average wage in Slovakia increased by 8.0% last year to SKK 18,761. In real terms, wages increased by 3.3%.
