Ceske radiokomunikace parent company’s preliminary 2001 CAS pretax profit of CZK 2.69 bil., released yesterday, significantly exceeded our forecast (CZK 0.4 bil.), mainly due to one-off financial revenues and interest income. Sales (CZK 2.26 bil.) and EBITDA (CZK 1.18 bil.) met our forecasts. The stock did not respond to the figures, mainly because the more-relevant 2001 IAS consolidated figures (which include the very important RadioMobil and Contactel subsidiaries) will not be released until March or April.
