Trade deficit returned to low figures in June. The deficit reached CZK 3.2bn, in line with Patria's forecast, after a revised trade gap of CZK 11.4bn in May. As expected, exports and imports significantly fell compared to the same month of the previous year. Exports diminished by 7.2%, imports by 8.1%. Trade deficit was lower thanks to declining import prices of oil and natural gas. Raw materials, semi-finished and chemical products diminished their deficit by CZK 1.1bn. It was also positively affected by the CZK 0,6bn surplus in trade with machinery and transport equipment.
