CEZ buyback program: As of 7 December 2007 CEZ bought back 7.76% of its share and on average it has been buying around 216,067 shares per day during the last month. Until now, CEZ spent on the buyback program
CZK 52.25bn during the last 158 business days. Company had 0.5% or 2,950,000 shares on its books before the share buyback. CEZ is allowed to acquire 1.7% of shares to reach the 10.0% limit. Based on the average of the last month we expect the buyback program to continue approximately for the next 50 business days.
Government sale: According to Prague Securities Centre (7 December 2007) government has sold so far 8.2m shares (1.38%) and has 66.23% stake at CEZ.
